Editorial policy
Sprout Syntax aims to make small experiments clear, modest in scope, and honest about what they can show. We distinguish an explanation from a test and a test from proof.
Accuracy and clarity
We review wording, steps, and explanations for consistency and clarity before publication. Instructions should make the purpose and sequence understandable, while noting when a result depends on materials or conditions. A small demonstration is not presented as evidence for a universal claim.
Independence and labels
Editorial decisions are kept separate from commercial arrangements. Any paid or partner material is clearly identified as such, so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial content.
Corrections
Readers can use the Contact page to flag an error or confusing passage. We assess the specific point and, when a correction is warranted, update the relevant wording and make the change clear to readers.
Images and illustrations
Some illustrations may be generated with AI. Illustrations are not evidence that an experiment was performed or that a result occurred; captions should make their illustrative role clear.
A small test can open a bigger question
We value experiments that begin within reach: a clear question, materials already at hand, and enough attention to learn from the result.
